Photographing your derby coach and her family. It’s true. When Chica asked me to take her holiday photographs, I was so excited. She is gorgeous, so is her husband. Add in a pit bull and schipperke and you know I’m in heaven. Then it hit me. My coach! I’m photographing my coach.The nerves hit. I know silly…especially because Chica Go Lightning (an amazing derby player) is one of the nicest people I know. Turns out it was easy as pie. When I got home and started culling through the photos I was horrified. This family is too cute for their own good. And mine. Every single shot was beautiful.
