All I can say is “Thank You Rebecca and Brian!” What a weekend. As the husband and I were driving home we kept talking about the rhinos. Then the lemur! And wow! Did you see those giraffe babies? Can you believe they give birth standing up and the baby drops 6 feet down? And what about the scenery? As you can tell the ride home was filled with chatter and made the trip home a lot shorter.
The weekend was a blur. We both thought the same thing as we drove into wine country for the first time, “Let’s move here!” St. Helena’s was our favorite. But Yountville (I know I spelled that wrong) was a close second. And your friends and family were just amazing. I felt like part of the family. ![]()
I’m still editing away. There were too many good ones, so it’s going to take me a little longer than usual, but well worth it. I’m planning on the getting the sneak peeks started the beginning of the week. But to tide you over, here is one of my favorites from our engagement session.
Hope you both have an amazing weekend in Vegas. I’m so happy you chose me to photograph your very gorgeous, wonderful and magical wedding. May you be as happy as the husband and me. (Still can’t get over we’ve been together 18 years. That seriously blows my mind every time I think about it!) For those who missed the engagement photos here they are. Enjoy!
I love weddings like this one. Outside at a gorgeous location. Fantastic colors. Laid back bride and groom. Fun bridal party. The best cake. Ever. You do know I love cake, right? This cake was not only delicious, but beautiful…more on that later.
I had a hard time picking my favorite sneak peek photos. I have so many favorites, I decided to spread them out over the week. So first up, the gorgeous location and fantastic decor!
The groom picked the colors and I think you will agree, he picked really great ones! The water in the pool even matched! I absolutely love the details. They thought of everything, from soup to nuts.
The theme of this wedding was the beach. So many creative ways to get the beach feel. I love these fish that decorated the sideboard. A little touch of glitzy whimsy. (I think I just invented a new term!)
And what a great way to do the seating assignments. Starfish are so cool. (can’t wait to show you some other starfish shots…one in particular…I love it!)
And the center pieces. More starfish. ![]()
Susan, I hope you and Bill had a fantastic honeymoon. I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the photos. I’ll be posting sneak peeks all week. Enjoy them!
